On the Beach Bungalows is an apartment in Ban Tai, Koh Phangan, with direct access to Baan Kai Beach. Its detached bungalows sit beside the shore, with sea views, a garden and an outdoor area for relaxing. A private beach area, sun terrace and open-air bath add to the beachfront setting.

Two accommodation options suit different group sizes. The 60 m² bungalow has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and room for four people; the 28 m² garden-view bungalow accommodates two and has a separate bedroom and living room. Both have air conditioning, a private entrance, soundproofing and outdoor space, with a balcony or terrace and views that include the sea and garden.

Facilities include free private parking, free WiFi and a bar, while breakfast is offered to go. You can also make use of the garden, outdoor furniture, barbecue facilities and sun loungers. Water sports are available on site, with activities such as snorkelling and surfing among the options. Pets are allowed at no extra charge.

The two bungalows offer distinct layouts for couples and families. The beachfront option measures 60 m², sleeps up to four and has two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room. At 28 m², the Deluxe Bungalow with Garden View is designed for two, with one bedroom and a living room. Both have a private entrance, air conditioning, soundproofing and private bathroom facilities.

Outdoor space and views are shared features, with a balcony, patio or terrace and outlooks that include the sea and garden. The larger unit places its two bedrooms and bathrooms alongside sea views and a terrace; the smaller bungalow adds an inner-courtyard view to its sea and garden outlook. Each has a minibar, while the room facilities also include toiletries, towels and a hairdryer. The beachfront unit has two extra-large double beds, while the garden-view option has one large king-size bed.

Time outdoors is a central part of a stay here: the property has a garden, outdoor furniture, a picnic area and an outdoor dining area, as well as a sun terrace and private beach area. Sun loungers or beach chairs, sun umbrellas and an open-air bath provide further ways to spend time by the shore. Barbecue facilities and an outdoor fireplace are also available.

The beach is 50 m away, while Baan Kai village is 550 m from the property. The setting is quieter than the island’s busier centres; guest feedback also highlights the calm atmosphere and the distance from the main road. Baan Tai Beach is another stretch of coast nearby, with the village of Baan Tai farther along the shoreline.

Thong Sala, the island’s port town, is about 5.4 km away. Koh Phangan has no airport, so travellers arriving via Koh Samui take a ferry to Thong Sala; shared songthaews travel from the pier towards Ban Tai. Free private parking is available on site, and you need to tell the property your expected arrival time in advance. Check-in runs from 13:00 to 22:00. The property’s position on the southern coast also gives you road access towards Haad Rin.

For local outings, Bulao Malayu Mosque is 450 m away, Wat Pho is 1.1 km away and the Night Market is 1.2 km away. Haad Baan Tai is also 1.2 km from the bungalows, and Haad Rin Nai Beach is 3.4 km away. Haad Rin Nok, known for the monthly Full Moon Party, is at the southern tip of the island. Phaeng Waterfall, in the island’s interior, is 5 km away; February to April is generally the driest, calmest period on Koh Phangan.
